Useful information on Göteborg

thumb nicho sodling-aschebergsgatan 24-1102Shopping:

Göteborg has everything from malls and department stores to small independent shops, with both international brands and local design. Most of the shops are located within walking distance and it’s easy to get around.
Shop second hand bargains, interior design, chocolate pralines, Christmas presents or update your wardrobe with the latest trends.

The shops are normally open between 10-19 on weekdays, 10-16 on Saturdays and 12-16 on Sundays. If you like to shop for all your clothes and things in one place, there are several shopping centres that appeal to different tastes. The malls are normally open until 20 on weekdays,
18 on Saturdays and 10-18 or 11-17 on Sundays and range from Nordstan, the largest shopping centre in Scandinavia, to the exclusive Nordiska Kompaniet.
