2020 HELP Network Conference 8 - 9 July , Strasbourg
The HELP Unit (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals)
is pleased to announce the dates for the 2020 HELP Network Conference which will take place on 8-9 July 2020 (Wednesday and Thursday), at the Council of Europe’s headquarters in Strasbourg.
The Conference will be part of the activities marking the 70th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Council of Europe HELP Network is the only pan-European human rights training network for judges, prosecutors and lawyers. It consists of representatives of national training institutions for legal professionals (judiciary schools and Bar associations) from all 47 CoE member States and beyond. Other international organisations are partners of the Network, including the main international associations of legal professionals such as the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) or the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
The HELP Annual Network Conference is the main annual gathering of all HELP Network members and partners. The 2020 HELP Network Conference will once again provide a forum to present new HELP courses or updated ones, to show and discuss impact of human rights training. The Conference will also be an important occasion to discuss how to improve effective co-operation among all members and partners of the HELP Network, including bilateral and regional co-operation between the HELP Programme and its partner institutions.
More information on the Conference, including the programme and logistical information, will follow in the coming weeks and months.
A representative from your insitution is welcome.
